An industrial site in the sought-after suburb of Melrose Park has been purchased by the Holdmark Property Group for $40 million.
Sold by pharmaceutical group Eli Lilly, the site at 112 Wharf Road is in one of Sydneys last under-developed locations, close to the waterfront.

In her address the Governor referred to her predecessor Governor Lachlan Macquarie and his nation building drive to make Sydney a real city as the first urban centre in Australia. In some ways Governor Macquarie was the nation's first developer.
