Holdmark Property Group has recently been acclaimed by the Urban Taskforce as the winner of the Development Excellence Award for Urban Renewal Development in 2015 for their Shepherds Bay Renewal Project.
The Shepherds Bay Renewal Project rejuvenates the foreshore of the Parramatta River in Meadowbank/Ryde NSW. The $2bn urban renewal will revitalise the foreshore and waterfront access with public parks, bike links and communal spaces. Homes will be built over 10 stages and will be set amongst 5 star landscape designs and break-away spaces.
There are many benefits associated with the development including the Local Green Infrastructure Centre that will distribute greater energy and water security, low carbon energy and locally generated recycled water.
Expressions of interest in the developments have been persistent. The first 5 stages were released to the market, with the first stage selling out within two weeks. The architectural design of the mainly mid-rise apartment buildings is by Robertson and Marks in association with Turner architects. Within the complex are significant communal facilities including a pleasant waterfront walkway.
