Sarkis Nassif named winner of the Ethnic Business Awards

October 2019

Holdmark’s founder and CEO Sarkis Nassif has been named the winner of the 2019 Ethnic Business Awards.

The Ethnic Business Awards are Australia’s longest-running national business awards program. The Awards celebrate the diversity of Australia’s business community, aim to create a greater sense of belonging and act as a platform for entrepreneurs to share their stories of success.

After leaving war-torn Lebanon, Sarkis left all that he knew and arrived in Australia in 1987.

Working 7-day shifts as a form worker, Sarkis saved enough money after 7 years to purchase his first small development site which formed the foundations for Holdmark Property Group.

Today, Holdmark employs thousands of people across its multiple sites and is the name behind some of NSW’s most iconic residential and commercial property precincts.

Sarkis is an active philanthropist who supports many charities including the John Paul Foundation, a charity he created along with his family in memory of his son, John Paul Nassif.
